01These terms
These terms govern the services Pacific Consulting LLC (“we”, “us”) provides to a client (“you”), and your use of this website. Engaging us for any service, or signing a quote or work order that references these terms, means you accept them.
Where a signed contract, statement of work or quote conflicts with these terms, that signed document takes precedence for the engagement it covers.
02What we provide
We provide event and logistics services in the State of Hawaiʻi, which may include any combination of the following:
- Event planning: concept, budget, run-of-show, floor plan and vendor coordination
- Event labor: crews for load-in, setup, show call, breakdown and strike
- Transportation and trucking between warehouse, port and venue
- Inter-island shipping, including palletizing, container booking and receiving
- Warehousing and staging
The exact scope of any engagement is the scope written in your quote or work order. Nothing on this website is itself an offer of service.
03Quotes and estimates
Estimates are based on the information you give us at the time. Changes to date, venue, guest count, freight volume, access conditions or scope may change the price, and we will tell you before incurring the difference wherever it is practical to do so.
Unless the quote says otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days and excludes taxes, permits, third-party venue charges and carrier surcharges.
04Booking, payment and cancellation
A booking is confirmed when we receive your written acceptance and any deposit stated in the quote. Payment terms, deposit amounts and cancellation windows are set out in your quote or work order.
Cancellations may incur costs we have already committed on your behalf — booked crew, reserved container space, chartered vehicles, non-refundable vendor deposits. We will itemise anything we bill you for.
05What we need from you
So that we can do our part, you agree to give us accurate information about the event and the freight, to obtain any permits or venue permissions that are yours to obtain, to provide safe and lawful site access, and to tell us promptly about changes.
You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you declare about shipped goods, including weight, contents and any regulated or hazardous items.
06Liability
We carry the insurance described in your quote and will perform with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement, except where the law does not permit that limit.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost opportunity. Goods in transit are covered to the limits of the applicable carrier or cargo policy; if you need broader cover, tell us before we ship.
07Events beyond control
Hawaiʻi work is exposed to weather, ocean freight schedules, port closures and harbour conditions. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events outside its reasonable control, including storms, high surf, port or airport disruption, carrier delay, strike, government action or emergency.
If such an event occurs we will work with you on rescheduling or an alternative route, and any unavoidable third-party costs remain payable.
08This website
The text, images and design of this site belong to their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission. We try to keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is error-free or continuously available.
Submitting the inquiry form does not create a booking or reserve a date. It starts a conversation.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, United States, and the courts of Honolulu have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
10Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version in force for your engagement is the one published when you booked. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page.
